ELEANOR MAY WATSON

A collection of new mixed media works on paper

ELEANOR MAY WATSON| New Mixed Media Works on Paper

We are excited to collaborate once again with Eleanor May Watson to bring you a series of vibrant new exclusive works on paper.

Eleanor May Watson (b. 1990) based outside Tonbridge, Kent, UK, is a visual artist working primarily in paint and print. Her most recent works frame moments of light; passing across objects within the home or captured in photographs of landscape. Melancholic images are washed in colour and come in and out of focus; creating quiet moments in which to contemplate memory, and longing in image-making. Eleanor completed her masters in Fine Art from City and Guilds of London Art School (2019) where she was awarded the Slaughterhaus Print Prize and the ACS Studio Prize. Eleanor was winner of the prestigious Jonathan Vickers Fine Art Award 2017, culminating in a solo exhibition at the Derby Museum and Art Gallery. Eleanor was awarded a place on The Drawing Year at The Royal Drawing School (2016) and receiving a BA at Wimbledon College of Art (2012). Eleanor was shortlisted for Futuremap Prize (2012), the Young Masters Art Prize (2014), and the Jerwood Fellowship (2015). She has exhibited widely nationally and internationally, in New York, Miami and Amsterdam and has has sell out exhibitions with both Wilder and Brocket Gallery. Eleanor's work is included in the University of the Arts London, Jonathan Vickers Fine Art Award and Dumfries House Collections.

Works are available unframed. If you would like help with framing please reach out and we would be happy to provide advice and framing quotes
