Wilder Gallery is the trading name of The Contemporary London LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales under number OC355470, with its registered office at 16 Mortimer Road, London NW10 5QP and its gallery at 77 College Road, London NW10 5ES. 2. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information that you give us, including when you buy or enquire about Artwork, register interest, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us:contact details, such as your name, postal and delivery address, email address and telephone number;details of your orders, enquiries and correspondence with us; andpayment details. Card and online payments are processed by our payment providers; we receive confirmation of payment but not your full card details.If you buy Artwork with a value of £10,000 or more, or if our anti-money laundering checks otherwise apply, we also collect:your date of birth, nationality, occupation and any previous names;copies of identity documents, a photograph of you holding your identity document, and proof of address;information about the source of funds for your purchase and your source of wealth, and whether you are a politically exposed person; andthe results of sanctions and politically exposed person screening.If you buy through a company, partnership or trust, we collect the equivalent information about the entity and about its directors, partners or trustees, its beneficial owners and the person signing on its behalf.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION, AND OUR LEGAL BASIS
Under UK data protection law we must have a legal basis for each use of your information:To process and deliver your order, arrange payment, and deal with cancellations, returns and customer service: this is necessary to perform our contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into one.To carry out anti-money laundering checks and keep the related records: this is necessary to comply with our legal obligations under the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 (as amended).To keep financial and tax records: this is necessary to comply with our legal obligations.To respond to your enquiries and manage our business: this is in our legitimate interests in running the gallery.To send you our newsletter: if you have subscribed, on the basis of your consent; if you have bought or enquired about Artwork, in our legitimate interests in telling you about similar Artworks and exhibitions. You can opt out at any time.Information collected for anti-money laundering purposes will be used only to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing, unless its use is permitted by another law or you give your explicit consent.Where we need information to meet a legal requirement or to perform a contract, you must provide it. If you do not, we will not be able to complete your purchase.
4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH
We share your information only where necessary, with:our payment providers and the Own Art finance provider, if you apply for Own Art;delivery, courier and art transportation companies;our website, email and IT service providers;our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers; andHM Revenue & Customs, the National Crime Agency, law enforcement and other authorities, where we are required or permitted by law to do so.We do not sell your personal information.
5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some of our service providers may process your information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure it is protected by appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.
6. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
Anti-money laundering records: five years from the end of our business relationship with you or from the date of the transaction, as required by the Money Laundering Regulations, unless the law requires us to keep them for longer.Order, invoice and payment records: for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, normally six years.Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe.Enquiries and other correspondence: for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with them.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
